Ordained strength or perfect praise?

 Psa 8:2 KJV Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

Psa 8:2 LBP (ES) Out of the mouth of young men and infants hast thou established thy glory because of thine enemies, that thou mightest destroy the enemy and the avenger.

Established glory can also be perfected praise

But standard translation of Hebrew renders:

Psa 8:2 KJV Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

The answer for this discrepancy is found in a deeper understanding of the Hebrew.

Psa 8:2 HiSB מִפִּ֤י mip·Pi Out of the mouth עֽוֹלְלִ֨ים ׀ 'ol·Lim of babes וְֽיֹנְקִים֮ ve·yo·ne·Kim and sucklings יִסַּ֪דְתָּ֫ yis·Sad·ta hast thou ordained עֹ֥ז 'oz strength לְמַ֥עַן le·Ma·'an Because צוֹרְרֶ֑יךָ tzor·Rei·cha; because of thine enemies לְהַשְׁבִּ֥ית le·hash·Bit that thou mightest still א֝וֹיֵ֗ב o·Yev, the enemy וּמִתְנַקֵּֽם׃ u·mit·nak·Kem. and the avenger

The word translated as strength here is oz, which is two Hebrew letters: 

1. Ayin- eye/focus/concentrated effort

2. Zayin- mattock/tool/instrument/weapon

Thus translation depends upon which tool is used with concerted effort and concentration:

Weapon= streangth

Instrument = praise
