Ps 68:18 Yah ascended on high

*Here it is with the witnesses woven in — still your voice, still raw, now anchored:* --- *18. You have ascended on high, leading the captives unto a secure and safe place. You have given gifts to mankind, (even the rebellious who have resisted persuasion), and received gifts from mankind, so that Yah Elohiym may dwell among mankind.* *Because He had to go away.* *John 16:7*: _“It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the _Paraqleta_ — the Redeemer of the curse, the Remover of the veil — will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you.”_ *That’s why Yeshua had to ascend.* Not to abandon. To send back. *He ascended on high v18 so He could pour out Holy Spirit — the _Paraqleta_ — to dwell in His people.* ### *The witnesses saw it — even when they argued over it* *Hebrew MT*: _You ascended to the height, You took captive captivity, You received gifts among men, and even the rebellious, for Yah Elohim to dwell._ *LXX ∼250 BC*: _You ascended on high, You led captivity captive, You received gifts among men, *for the rebellious also to dwell — the Lord God*._ *They saw it: God dwells WITH the rebellious.* *Peshitta ∼200 AD*: _You ascended to the height, You led captivity captive, *You GAVE gifts to the sons of men*, because Mar-Yah God might rest._ *They saw it: He ascended to GIVE.* But they deleted _“rebellious.”_ Too scandalous. *Eph 4:8 proves them wrong — Paul kept the rebels.* *Targum ∼300 AD*: _You ascended to the firmament... You received the Torah to teach it to the sons of men, *and even the rebels who repent* — the Shekinah of Yah Elohim dwells._ *They saw it: dwelling happens.* But they added _“who repent.”_ *Hebrew has no condition.* _Wəʾap̄ sôrərîm_ = “even the rebellious” period. Grace, not probation. *Aquila ∼130 AD*: _You ascended on high... You received gifts among man, *and indeed the disobedient, for Yah Elohim to dwell*._ *Fanatically literal. Kept the rebels. Kept Yah.* *Symmachus ∼200 AD*: _You ascended on high... *You GAVE gifts to men, even to the disobedient*, for the Lord God to dwell._ *He agrees with Paul: ascension = giving.* And he kept the _apeitheis_ “unconvinced.” *Vulgate ∼400 AD*: _You ascended on high... You received gifts among men, *moreover also the unbelieving*, for the Lord God to dwell._ *Unbelieving. _Sôrərîm_. Bashan.* *5 of 6 witnesses kept the rebellious.* *4 of 6 said “received,” 2 said “gave.”* *All 6 said “to dwell.”* The fight was never about dwelling. The fight was about *who* gets dwelt-in. *The witnesses say: even Bashan. Even the unconvinced.* ### *Sinai vs Zion: Visit vs Habitation* *At Sinai v17*, _YHWH is among them_ — *visitation*. Ten thousand _šinʾān_ “transformed souls.” But the people said _“Don’t let God speak”_ _Ex 20:19_. *The veil stayed up.* 3000 died, _Ex 32:28_. Law couldn’t remove it. *At Zion v18*, _Yah ascended_ *so He could come down _in_ us.* _“You received gifts among men — even the rebellious who have resisted persuasion — so that Yah Elohiym may dwell among mankind.”_ *The veil comes down.* _2 Cor 3:16_: _“When one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.”_ *3000 live*, _Acts 2:41_. *The _Paraqleta_ — the Redeemer of the curse _Gal 3:13_ — takes up residence.* *Why gifts to the rebellious? Because Bashan was outside.* Giant land. _Sôrərîm_ land. Unconvinced. Bulls of Bashan surrounded Him at the cross, _Ps 22:12_. *They didn’t get it. We didn’t get it.* *So He ascended.* _“Leading the captives unto a secure and safe place.”_ *He took Bashan with Him.* And He sent back the _Paraqleta_ — *the One who redeems from the curse of the Law, and tears the veil from Sinai to Zion.* *He couldn’t dwell _among_ mankind until He could dwell _in_ mankind.* _John 14:17_: _“He dwells with you and will be in you.”_ *With = Sinai. In = Zion.* The ascension was the swap. ### *The Gift IS the Dwelling* *v18 is Pentecost.* _“You have given gifts to mankind... so that Yah Elohiym may dwell among mankind.”_ *The gift IS the dwelling.* _Eph 4:8-11_: He ascended, gave gifts — apostles, prophets — *but the first Gift was the _Paraqleta_ Himself*, _Acts 2:33_: _“having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured out this.”_ *He had to go away to send the Redeemer of the curse.* *He had to ascend to remove the veil.* *He had to leave so Yah could move in.* *Bashan became Zion because the King went up, and the Spirit came down.* *The rebellious became the dwelling because the _Paraqleta_ entered.* *Yah became mine — my Yeshua, my salvation — because He ascended to send Him.* *Sinai = YHWH among us. Zion = Yah in us.* *Law = visit. Spirit = habitation.* *And it only happened because He went away.* *The witnesses testify: 5 kept the rebels, 6 kept the dwelling. Bashan is in the verse. Outside brought in.* *Selah. v19*: _“Blessed be Adonay, day by day He bears us up”_ — *the _Paraqleta_ carrying Bashan home.* --- *That’s the full weight: your translation, the witnesses, the ascension, the _Paraqleta_, Bashan → Zion. Ship it.*

153 in Gematria

Here's a rewritten and tightened version of the blog post draft I gave you earlier. I've kept all the key layers intact but woven in גדי (the young goat/kid = 17) prominently—pairing it beautifully with עגלים (calves/circles = 153) as the two bracketing springs in Ezekiel's vision. This makes the symmetry even clearer and stronger. The Hidden Geometry of 153: Fish, Sons of God, and Two Young AnimalsJohn 21 tells of a night of empty nets turned into an overwhelming catch: exactly 153 large fish, hauled in on the right side, the net miraculously unbroken. Why 153? For centuries this number has intrigued readers. It is no random detail. Layer by layer, Scripture reveals a stunning web of mathematics, gematria, and wordplay—all pointing to resurrection, cleansing, and the great end-time harvest of souls.1. 153 = The 17th Triangular Number153 is the sum of every integer from 1 to 17:1 + 2 + … + 17 = 153This makes it a perfect triangular number—one that forms an equilateral triang...

Replenish the earth

Here's an integrated discussion that brings together all the insights we've covered: Genesis Chapter 1: A Narrative of Creation and Restoration Martin Luther's Interpretation: Martin Luther, in his theological expositions on Genesis, particularly in his lectures from 1535 to 1545, offered an interpretation that has resonated with some believers regarding the nature of the creation narrative. Luther suggested that the world described in Genesis 1:1 as being created by God was initially perfect. However, he interpreted Genesis 1:2, where it states the earth was "without form and void," as evidence of a subsequent destruction or change from this perfect state. This view implies that what follows in Genesis 1:3-31 is not merely creation but a divine act of restoration or refurbishment. Luther's focus was theological, emphasizing God's omnipotence and love in bringing order from chaos, rather than engaging with modern scientific debates. Hebrew Text and the N...

Old earth v young earth? Wrong question!

Old earth Verses  Young earth ### *Genesis 1: Restoration, Not Stopwatch*   *Young Earth vs Old Earth — What Scripture Actually Says* I’ve been told Genesis 1 settles the age of the earth. I’ve been told it proves “young earth” or proves “old earth.” After looking hard at the Hebrew, I’m convinced we’re asking the wrong question. *Genesis 1 isn’t a stopwatch. It’s a restoration record.* And if we miss that, we miss the point. #### *1. What we _can’t_ prove from Scripture* *Scripture doesn’t date dirt.* _Job 38:4_ *“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?”* I wasn’t there. Neither were you. No verse says “the earth is 6,000 years old.” No verse says “the earth is 4.6 billion years old.”   *What Scripture _does_ date is man.* Genealogies from Adam put him ∼4,000 BC. _Luke 3:38_ *“Adam, which was the son of God.”* But Adam is not dirt. _Genesis 2:7_ *“the LORD God formed man of the dust.”* The dust was there first. *So “young earth vs old earth” i...
