Isa 28:22

### Isa 28:21-22 — Strange Work That Divides and Cuts Short *Translation 21:* > For as at Mount Perazim — Mount of Burstings — shall YHWH rise, as in Valley of Gibeon shall He be wroth, to do His work — strange is His work — and to perform His act — foreign is His act. *Perazim and Gibeon — not places, divisions:* - *Har Perazim* — where YHWH _paratz_ — burst through enemies as waters burst — and where land itself burst in Uzziah's earthquake — Amos 1:1 — Targum on Perazim remembers mountains splitting. - *Emek Gibeon* — where YHWH divided enemies with hail, divided day — sun stood in Gibeon, moon in Aijalon — to give rest — and where Israel divided against Israel — 12 vs 12 at Pool of Gibeon — Field of Swords. Both are _paratz_ — to burst, to divide — to give rest. God rising against His own city as He once rose for it — that's foreign. *Translation 22 — Word for word across MT, LXX, Peshitta:* > _ve'atta al titlotzatzu pen yechezqu mosreichem ki chala ve necheratza shama'ti me'et Adonai YHWH tzevaot al kol ha'aretz_ > And now do not scoff lest your bonds be made strong — for full end cut short I heard from Adonai YHWH hosts upon all the earth. LXX: _me euphrantheiete mede ischysatosan hymon hoi desmoi... syntetelesmena kai syntetmemena..._ Peshitta: _la telutzun d'la nehzaqun asraykoun... gmirta p'siqta..._ No variation — because this is legal seal. *The seal — _chala ve necheratza_ — everywhere it appears:* 1. *Isa 10:22-23* — _ki im yihyeh amcha Yisrael kechol hayam shear yashuv bo chala necheratza shotefet tzedakah... ki chala ve necheratza..._ Though Israel as sand of sea — remnant shall return — consumption finished cut short overflowing righteousness — for full end cut short makes Adonai in midst of all land. 2. *Isa 28:22* — same seal — bonds made strong — full end cut short heard. 3. *Dan 9:26-27* — _ve'ad kalah ve necheratza... ve'al kenaf shiqutzim meshomem ve'ad kalah ve necheratza tittach al shomem_ Until full end cut short decreed... upon wing abominations desolating until full end cut short poured on desolator. Aramaic behind it: _gmirta psuqta_ — finished cut — legal term for decree. Translators make vague — "destruction decreed" — hides _chala_ — consumption, land eating its Sabbaths Lev 26:34, and _necheratza_ — cut, as days cut short Matt 24:22 _kolobothesontai_ — and _shotefet tzedakah_ — overflowing righteousness — not "just punishment about to overflow." *Return or Saved? No discrepancy.* Isa 10:22 MT — _shear yashuv_ — remnant shall return — name of Isaiah's son Shear-Jashub 7:3 LXX — _to kataleimma sothesetai_ — remnant shall be saved Rom 9:27 — _to kataleimma sothesetai_ — Paul same Lazy to say "Paul quoted Greek." Paul knew Hebrew better. If someone you know is lost and you find him and lead him home — what is he? He is returned — _yashuv_ — and he is saved — _sothesetai_ — and he is found. Hebrew pairs them always: Deut 30:2 _ve shavta_ — you return — 30:3 _ve shav YHWH_ — YHWH returns/restores Targum Jonathan on 10:22 already reads _yashuv_ as _yitkayemun_ — shall be established/saved Peshitta _nehtub_ = return = be restored Paul didn't copy LXX — he gave Romans the Hebrew meaning — to return is to be saved — _to find lost is to save them._ LXX translators knew same, so they wrote _sothesetai_ — same Hebrew understanding. *Commentary — די — Enough:* 19 — _midei_ — from enough — overflowing flood passes — exile — enough, not death — Dayenu. 20 — _lo di_ — not enough — garment too short — _mana z'or l'mestarohi_ — no covering — stripped — _g-l-h_ = exile = uncovered. 21-22 — Strange divider does both — Perazim/Gibeon — bursts land to give rest — _marge'ah_ 28:12 — divider who gives rest — _raga_ — to divide sea and give rest. Land gets rest — Lev 26:34 _az tirtzeh ha'aretz et shabbetoteha_ — 70 years — enough for land — not enough bed for people — great divide. Same divider cuts days short — _chala ve necheratza_ — end cut short, finished quickly — so bonds not forever — so remnant can return/be saved — quickly. That is _zar ma'asehu_ — foreign work — same instrument — divided tongues — Isa 28:11 _belagei saphah ubelashon acheret_ — other tongue — as judgment Assyrian — and as Pentecost _diamerizomenai glossai_ — divided tongues fire — dividing people FROM world — to clothe as priests — _mamlechet kohanim._ Same cut — stripped of garment to exile land, clothed with garment to enter rest.

153 in Gematria

Here's a rewritten and tightened version of the blog post draft I gave you earlier. I've kept all the key layers intact but woven in גדי (the young goat/kid = 17) prominently—pairing it beautifully with עגלים (calves/circles = 153) as the two bracketing springs in Ezekiel's vision. This makes the symmetry even clearer and stronger. The Hidden Geometry of 153: Fish, Sons of God, and Two Young AnimalsJohn 21 tells of a night of empty nets turned into an overwhelming catch: exactly 153 large fish, hauled in on the right side, the net miraculously unbroken. Why 153? For centuries this number has intrigued readers. It is no random detail. Layer by layer, Scripture reveals a stunning web of mathematics, gematria, and wordplay—all pointing to resurrection, cleansing, and the great end-time harvest of souls.1. 153 = The 17th Triangular Number153 is the sum of every integer from 1 to 17:1 + 2 + … + 17 = 153This makes it a perfect triangular number—one that forms an equilateral triang...

Old earth v young earth? Wrong question!

Old earth Verses  Young earth ### *Genesis 1: Restoration, Not Stopwatch*   *Young Earth vs Old Earth — What Scripture Actually Says* I’ve been told Genesis 1 settles the age of the earth. I’ve been told it proves “young earth” or proves “old earth.” After looking hard at the Hebrew, I’m convinced we’re asking the wrong question. *Genesis 1 isn’t a stopwatch. It’s a restoration record.* And if we miss that, we miss the point. #### *1. What we _can’t_ prove from Scripture* *Scripture doesn’t date dirt.* _Job 38:4_ *“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?”* I wasn’t there. Neither were you. No verse says “the earth is 6,000 years old.” No verse says “the earth is 4.6 billion years old.”   *What Scripture _does_ date is man.* Genealogies from Adam put him ∼4,000 BC. _Luke 3:38_ *“Adam, which was the son of God.”* But Adam is not dirt. _Genesis 2:7_ *“the LORD God formed man of the dust.”* The dust was there first. *So “young earth vs old earth” i...
