Ye-how-ah? Check grammar!

*Back to Yehowah: A Conversation* I started with a problem that’s been bugging me. The Greeks wrote the Name as IABE (Ya-beh) and IAOUE (Ya-oo-eh). But final Heh in Hebrew is almost never -eh. It’s always -ah. Yirmeyahu, Eliyah, Yesha’yahu - all -ah. So why would YHWH end in -eh in Greek? Greeks had Alpha for ah. They could have written IAOUA = Ya-ou-a. That would be perfect Yahowah. But they wrote E - eh. Maybe they had no rough breathing in the middle or end, so they couldn’t write the H. And that breathy final -ah sounded like -eh to a Greek ear. Or maybe the Samaritans they heard really did say Ya-beh with -eh, not Yah-wah. You pointed out: you can actually get Yeh-ow-ah straight from the pointing. And it’s eerily close to Yah-ow-ah. One dot of difference. And that’s true. The Leningrad points are: Yod + sheva = Yeh Heh + holam = ho Waw + kamatz = wah Final Heh = silent = Yeh-ho-wah. Read it exactly as pointed, no tricks. If you change sheva (eh) to patah (ah) on the Yod, you get Yah-ho-wah. יַ vs יְ. Same letter, one dot. Can Yod take patah? I asked that like it was a stupid question. It can. יַם = yam, יַד = yad, יָהּ = Yah itself. Yod with patah = Ya is completely normal Hebrew. So both Yehowah and Yahowah are writable, pronounceable Hebrew. The sheva under YHWH in Leningrad is there because of Adonai (chataf patah, holam, kamatz), but it still produces a real name. Then you caught the grammar point: How often is Heh used in the middle of a word? All the time. Avraham, Yehudah, elleh - middle Heh is pronounced: -ha-, -ho-, -hu-. It’s only final Heh that goes silent and becomes -ah. So if first Heh is middle, it should be pronounced. That means Ye-ho-wah respects Hebrew grammar. Ye (yod) + ho (first heh as middle) + wah (waw + final heh). Yah-wah / Yah-weh deletes that middle Heh entirely. YH becomes just Yah, as if Heh is silent in the middle. But it shouldn’t be. If we follow normal grammar, it’s pointed just like it’s pronounced: Yeh-howah. Which brings the meaning. Howah. And that’s where it gets wild. הוה = hawah = to be, to become, to breathe. That’s Ehyeh asher Ehyeh - I will be. But הֹוָה / הַוָּה = howah / hovah = ruin, disaster, destruction, a destructive storm. Same letters. Different vowel. Yah-wah = He is. Ye-howah = He who storms, destroys, ruins. He kills and makes alive. No man can live in His presence. Maybe that’s why He looks like a hurricane in the name. Breath that gives life and wind that tears down in the same word. A name you can’t stand in unshielded. Which brings us right back to where we started. Not Yahweh with -eh ending that Hebrew never uses. Not Yahwah that deletes the middle Heh. But Yehowah / Yahowah - with the middle H pronounced, the final -ah intact, pointed just as it’s pronounced if you read it normally. Yeh-hoe-ah. conversation continued --- *Did Hebrew Adjust to God, or God to Hebrew?* We had just circled all the way back to Yehowah. Yeh-ho-wah = Yod as Yeh, middle Heh as ho, Waw + final Heh as wah. Pointed exactly as pronounced if you follow normal grammar. No missing middle H, no final -eh that Hebrew never uses. But then we hit a wall. Genesis 4:26 says men began to call on the name of YHWH long before Hebrew existed. If the Name is angelic, pre-Babel, then Hebrew is just trying to spell a sound that isn’t Hebrew. I said - then we wasted a lot of time. Angels don’t speak Hebrew. You said - true words. But what about Ehyeh asher Ehyeh? Is that the root? That’s where it flips. If the root really is hayah / hawah = to be, then we have two options: *Option 1: God adjusted to Hebrew.* Moses spoke Hebrew. So God spoke Hebrew back to him. Ehyeh - I will be - is God translating Himself down into a word Moses already knew. YHWH becomes the Hebrew version of an angelic name. Accommodation. *Option 2: Hebrew was pre-adjusted to support His angelic name.* Hebrew wasn’t random. At Babel languages were confused, but one was kept or crafted to carry הוה. Look at what Hebrew does with those letters: hayah = to be, to live hawah = to become, to breathe, to happen howah / hovah = ruin, disaster, destructive storm hu = He ha = breath, behold Being and un-being. Making alive and killing. Breath that gives life and wind that destroys. All built on H-W-H. No other language does that in three letters. Greek couldn’t even keep the Hs - they had no rough breathing in the middle or end. That’s why they wrote IAOUE, IABE. They heard Ya-ou-ah, Ya-beh, but couldn’t write the H. Hebrew could. Middle Heh pronounced as ho. Final Heh as ah. Yod as Ya or Ye with one dot difference. יַ vs יְ. It’s like the alphabet was waiting for the Name. So which is it? Did God look down and say “How do I say my angelic name in Hebrew? Ehyeh will do.” Or did He look at Hebrew and say “I made this language so it could finally spell what the angels already say?” If angels don’t speak Hebrew, maybe Hebrew speaks angel. That’s why we kept landing on Yehowah. Not because we were trying to prove Yehowah. Because normal grammar, when you don’t break rules, spells it by itself: Yeh-ho-wah. Pointed just like it’s pronounced. Not a translation of a heavenly sound. The earthly letter-box that was built to hold it. He kills and makes alive. No man can live in His presence. A hurricane you can only write as breath.

153 in Gematria

Here's a rewritten and tightened version of the blog post draft I gave you earlier. I've kept all the key layers intact but woven in גדי (the young goat/kid = 17) prominently—pairing it beautifully with עגלים (calves/circles = 153) as the two bracketing springs in Ezekiel's vision. This makes the symmetry even clearer and stronger. The Hidden Geometry of 153: Fish, Sons of God, and Two Young AnimalsJohn 21 tells of a night of empty nets turned into an overwhelming catch: exactly 153 large fish, hauled in on the right side, the net miraculously unbroken. Why 153? For centuries this number has intrigued readers. It is no random detail. Layer by layer, Scripture reveals a stunning web of mathematics, gematria, and wordplay—all pointing to resurrection, cleansing, and the great end-time harvest of souls.1. 153 = The 17th Triangular Number153 is the sum of every integer from 1 to 17:1 + 2 + … + 17 = 153This makes it a perfect triangular number—one that forms an equilateral triang...

Old earth v young earth? Wrong question!

Old earth Verses  Young earth ### *Genesis 1: Restoration, Not Stopwatch*   *Young Earth vs Old Earth — What Scripture Actually Says* I’ve been told Genesis 1 settles the age of the earth. I’ve been told it proves “young earth” or proves “old earth.” After looking hard at the Hebrew, I’m convinced we’re asking the wrong question. *Genesis 1 isn’t a stopwatch. It’s a restoration record.* And if we miss that, we miss the point. #### *1. What we _can’t_ prove from Scripture* *Scripture doesn’t date dirt.* _Job 38:4_ *“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?”* I wasn’t there. Neither were you. No verse says “the earth is 6,000 years old.” No verse says “the earth is 4.6 billion years old.”   *What Scripture _does_ date is man.* Genealogies from Adam put him ∼4,000 BC. _Luke 3:38_ *“Adam, which was the son of God.”* But Adam is not dirt. _Genesis 2:7_ *“the LORD God formed man of the dust.”* The dust was there first. *So “young earth vs old earth” i...
