Day of atonement goats

Here is the blog draft - fixed to Peshitta, no Greek: --- *The Two Goats of Yom Kippur Are One Offering - And Yeshua Is Both* *1. Are the goats required to be pure?* Yes. *Leviticus 22:19-22* - every offering must be *תמים - tamim*, without blemish. - *Passover - Ex 12:5:* *שֶׂה תָמִים - seh tamim* - a pure seh, and seh can be from sheep OR goats - *מִן־הַכְּבָשִׂים וּמִן־הָעִזִּים* - *Yom Kippur - Lev 16:5:* *שְׁנֵי־שְׂעִירֵי עִזִּים - two se'irei izzim* - shaggy he-goats. Must be identical per Yoma 6:1 - same color, size, value, bought together. Both presented *לִפְנֵי יְהוָה - before YHWH* Lev 16:7 - *Red Heifer - Num 19:2:* strictest - fully red, no defect, never yoked. Same purity principle, different fences. *2. Is one of those goat words used for demons?* Yes. *שָׂעִיר - sa'ir* = hairy one. *Lev 17:7:* > They shall no more sacrifice to the *שְׂעִירִם - se'irim* - goat-demons Same word as Yom Kippur goats. Isaiah 13:21, 34:14 - *sa'ir* dwelling in ru...

Qav part 2/line

QAV Part 2 - Two Strands of the Same QAV - Conscience and Gospel* In Part 1 we saw *qav (קו)* become *qavah (קוה)* - 106 become 111 - line become circle - pi. That left a problem. If *qav (קו)* - measuring line - went out to all earth as Gospel only when apostles went - *barat qalahon (ברת קלהון)* - then what about before apostles? What about conscience? Paul himself says: > *Rom 2:14-15 - when Gentiles who have not law do by nature things of law, they become law to themselves - work of law written in hearts - conscience - suneidesis* That's also *qav (קו)* - but earlier. So there are *2 strands of same qav (קו)* twisted into one *qavah (קוה)* rope. *Strand 1 - qav (קו) 106 - without Heh (ה) - Creation / Conscience - before apostles* Psalm 19:1-4 has two halves - most miss this: > *v1-3: hashamaim mesaprim kevod El (השמים מספרים כבוד אל) - heavens declare glory of El - yom l'yom yabia omer (יום ליום יביע אמר) - day to day pours speech - ein omer v'ein devar...

Line/daughter of voice

*QAV - The Measuring Line That Circles The Sea* I've been chasing one word for months now. *qav (קו).* It won't let me go. Isaiah 28:10-12 first hooked me: > *qav laqav qav laqav (קו לקו קו לקו)* Precept upon precept? No. *Line upon line. Measuring line upon measuring line.* The theologians call it child's babble. It's not babble. It's the theology of measure. God teaches by line. To outsiders it sounds like gibberish, but it's measure. Then I saw it around the sea. 1 Kings 7:23 - Solomon's molten sea: > *10 cubits from brim to brim, and a line of 30 cubits compassed it round about - qav savav (קו סבב)* 10 across, 30 around. 30/10 = 3. That's *pie*. Pi. The *qav that goes around the sea* is pie. That same root becomes hope - and this is where Heh matters. > *qav (קו) = qof (ק) 100 + vav (ו) 6 = 106 - without Heh (ה) - open line, incomplete* > *qavah (קוה) = qof (ק) 100 + vav (ו) 6 + heh (ה) 5 = 111 - with Heh (ה) - line with breath...

Luke 4:16

*Was Yeshua Quoting Greek in Luke 4? No. He Was Reading Hebrew In Synagogue.* By John Lanclos So-called scholars say Luke 4:18 is LXX. Think. Would Yeshua read Greek LXX scroll on Shabbat in Nazareth synagogue to Aramaic Jews? No. He read Hebrew. Luke 4:16 - *ܦܬܚ ܟܬܒܐ - pthach ktaba - He opened the scroll* - Isa 61:1-2 - Hebrew scroll, not Greek. Look at what He actually read: > *וְלַאֲסוּרִים פְּקַח־קוֹחַ - v'la'asurim p'qach qowach - Isa 61:1* *פָּקַח - paqach - S6491 - to open - EYES ONLY* Not doors. Eyes. Every time - Gen 3:5 eyes opened, Gen 21:19 God opened Hagar eyes, 2 Kings 6:17 Elisha prayed open eyes. Paqach = eye opening. *קוֹחַ - qowach - same root - repeat - p'qach qowach = opening opening = WIDE OPEN - intensive* *אָסַר - asar / acar - S631 - ܐܣܪ - to be bound in any and every way - eyes bound shut, hands bound, prison bound - any binding* So Hebrew says: *p'qach qowach la'asurim - eye-opening wide opening to those bound* Dual meani...

Mt 5: anger without cause

Let's do both - here's a blog draft in your voice, and we can keep this chat as the conversation version underneath. --- *Title: Iyqa Raqa - The Rhyme They Deleted - Mat 5:22* Mat 5:22 AEIB *דכל מן דנרגז על אחוהי איקא... וכל דנאמר לאחוהי רקא* Most say *איקא - eike - without cause* is added to make it easier. I submit it is original because it rhymes. *ܐܝܩܐ - iyqa - S709 - without cause / empty* *ܪܩܐ - raqa - S20260 - empty head / I spit on you* *iyqa raqa* - same qa ending. Rhyme. Escalation: 1. Angry empty - in heart - *איקא* 2. Say empty - with mouth - *רקא* 3. Say fool - to damn - *ללא - lala* You need 1 and 2 to keep poetry. Greek saw *εἰκῇ / ῥακά* and thought doublet, deleted one. P67, Vaticanus delete *εἰκῇ* - breaks rhyme. Peshitta keeps rhyme because original was Aramaic wordplay. Greek variants prove Aramaic swing: - *ܐܝܩܐ* can be *without cause* OR *vainly* - Greek had to pick - some picked *εἰκῇ*, some omitted If Greek original, why create Aramaic rhyme? I...

Ps 68 with links to blogs

Examine with me the most altered Hebrew Psalm ever. Why? To Hide the Messiah! Psalms 68 as compared to the ancient witnesses! 1. Let Elohiym arise, so that his enemies will be scattered, and so that those who despise him will flee from his presence. 2. Let all the wicked be driven away as smoke and vanish before the presence of Elohiym, and become as wax which is melted before the fire. See blog https://remnantstudies.blogspot.com/2026/07/ps-682-verified.html 3. But may the righteous be glad, when they [are given the strength to] triumph in the presence of Elohiym, and may they rejoice [in his pleasure] exceedingly. 4. Sing to Elohiym, make music to his name, Exalt and prepare the way for him who travels [from the eastern paradise unto] the western deserts, his name is YAH, [May the wicked be troubled by his presence, as] the righteous are triumphant and rejoice before him. See blog this shows how western deserts alone makes rational sense in context https://remnantstudie...

Ps 68:4 why clouds?

*How Do They Get Clouds From Arabot? You Can't. - Psalm 68:4* > Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. > Psalm 68:4 KJV Everybody loves to preach this as "Yah rides upon the clouds." It sounds good for end times. Coming in the clouds. But look at the Hebrew. סֹלּוּ לָרֹכֵב בָּעֲרָבוֹת בְּיָהּ שְׁמוֹ Solu la-rochev ba'aravot beYah shemo Lift up, cast up a highway for Him that rideth *ba'aravot* - by His name Yah. What is *aravot*? Plural of *aravah*. Strong's 6160 - aravah: 1. desert, wilderness, steppe 2. plain, Arabah Brown-Driver-Briggs: > apparently North Arabian desert Isa 40:3, in general the steppe, often || midbar, Jer 17:6; Ps 68:5 It is everywhere a desert. Deut 1:1, Jer 2:6 "land of desert and pits," Isa 35:1 "the wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad; and the desert shall rejoice." There is no cloud in the root. The LXX...

Isa 29:3

*Isaiah 29:3 - Duwr is David. The LXX saw both.* I was looking at Isaiah 29:3. MT says: וְחָנִיתִי כַדּוּר עָלָיִךְ _ve-chaniti kaddur alayich_ And I will encamp as a circle around you. LXX says: καὶ κυκλώσω ὡς Δαυιδ ἐπὶ σὲ _kai kukloso hos Dauid epi se_ And I will encircle you as David. Everyone says LXX read Resh as Daleth. דור became דוד. Duwr became David. Simple scribal error. Resh and Daleth look almost identical. Case closed. But wait. Look again. LXX didn't just read David. They also read Duwr. Kukloso - I will encircle - where does that come from? It does not come from Chanah. Chanah חנה means to stoop down, to bend, to settle, to pitch a tent, to encamp. It has nothing to do with a circle. Zero. Encircle comes from Duwr. Duwr means circle, ball, to turn round. So LXX took Kaddur כדור and gave us TWO translations from the same consonants: 1. Duwr = kukloso - I will encircle 2. Duwd = David One Hebrew word translated twice. I don't think they dismissed Ch...

Ye-how-ah? Check grammar!

*Back to Yehowah: A Conversation* I started with a problem that’s been bugging me. The Greeks wrote the Name as IABE (Ya-beh) and IAOUE (Ya-oo-eh). But final Heh in Hebrew is almost never -eh. It’s always -ah. Yirmeyahu, Eliyah, Yesha’yahu - all -ah. So why would YHWH end in -eh in Greek? Greeks had Alpha for ah. They could have written IAOUA = Ya-ou-a. That would be perfect Yahowah. But they wrote E - eh. Maybe they had no rough breathing in the middle or end, so they couldn’t write the H. And that breathy final -ah sounded like -eh to a Greek ear. Or maybe the Samaritans they heard really did say Ya-beh with -eh, not Yah-wah. You pointed out: you can actually get Yeh-ow-ah straight from the pointing. And it’s eerily close to Yah-ow-ah. One dot of difference. And that’s true. The Leningrad points are: Yod + sheva = Yeh Heh + holam = ho Waw + kamatz = wah Final Heh = silent = Yeh-ho-wah. Read it exactly as pointed, no tricks. If you change sheva (eh) to patah (ah) on the Yod,...

Day of Atonement

*Yom Kippur — Two Goats, One Atonement* Lev 16:7-10 — Aaron takes two goats. One lot for YHWH, one lot for Azazel. Same enclosure. One offering. Two parts. *The Names:* _Az_ — _az_ [עז] — means goat. Also means strength and praise. Same word. Goat is the strong one. _Azel_ — _azal_ [אזל] — means to go away, to be removed, to be gone. To disappear to wilderness. _Azazel_ — _azazel_ [עזאזל] — Goat of Removal. The goat that goes away. Peshitta OT keeps the name — _la'Azazel_ — does not translate it to Lord. *Two Goats — Two Works:* *1. Goat for YHWH — slain — blood — the body* Lev 16:9 — the goat on which the lot for YHWH fell is offered as a sin offering. Blood brought inside the veil before the mercy seat. This is the body — the sacrifice — Yeshua as the Lamb — blood shed for YHWH. *2. Goat for Azazel — live — bearing — sent away* Lev 16:10 — the goat on which the lot for Azazel fell shall stand alive before YHWH to atone upon him, to send him away to Azazel to the wilder...

Isa 29:1-2 Ariel

Here is a draft in your notes voice for Isa 29:1-2 — you can paste as is: --- *Isa 29:1-2 — Ariel — Foundation Mount of God shall become Hearth of God* We have been tracking Isa 28:16-20 — _hinn'ni yissad be'Tzion even_ — Foundation Stone laid — bed too short — garment too narrow — _matsa_ — pressed. Now 29:1 opens same city. > _Hoy Ariel Ariel qiryat chanah David sephu shanah al shanah chaggim yinqophu_ > Woe Ariel Ariel the city where David encamped — add year upon year — let feasts come around in circuit. > _ve'tsaqoti la'Ariel ve'hayta ta'aniyah va'aniyah ve'hayta li ke'Ariel_ Who is Ariel? LXX saves it — _ouai polis Ariēl_ — Woe city Ariel — they would not translate it as lion. Targum saves it — _qirta d'shara David_ — city where dwelt David. Why? Because Ariel is two things in one spelling — and Ezekiel 43:15-16 proves it — first instance without א, other two with א: *v15a — הַהַרְאֵל — _har'el_ — without א — Mountain o...

Isa 28 translation

Isaiah chapter 28 as Hebrew compared to Greek LXX (LXX: ...) and Aramaic Peshitta (P: ...) and Aramaic Targums. _1_ Woe to crown glorious of drunkard Ephraim (LXX: crown of pride, hirelings of Ephraim) (P: shameful diadem of strength of his glory) and to garland shameful, army of his glory at head of valley of fatness (heavenly fatness / beautifully fertile) (P: which dominates at entrance of fertile valley) of those confused with wine (LXX: drunk without wine). _2_ Behold, the strong and mighty one for YHWH — as stream hail, storm destroying — as stream waters many, heavy, thick overflowing — He causes land to rest with power — (LXX: as great body water sweeping away soil, he shall make rest for the land) (P: I will give rest to this land by your hands) (Targum: people come against them to remove them out of the land into another land because sins in hands — army — Shalmaneser). _3_ With feet trampled crown glorious of drunkards Ephraim (LXX: hirelings beaten down with hands and fe...

Isa 28:6-9

Here is blog 6-9 in same voice — LXX vs MT / P difference is sharpest here — vomit vs covetousness: --- *Isa 28:6-9 — Judgment, Hirelings, and Tables — Vomit vs Covetous Counsel* We saw 1-4 — man's heavenly fatness — beautifully fertile hill they called heaven — early fig eaten while in hand — cannot produce — vs ground prepared by _shavah_ — pressing even — Divider who gives rest. Now 6-9 — priest and prophet — same hirelings — LXX keeps thread — MT / P keep vomit. *My translation 6-9 with glosses:* *6* And for spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to those who turn back battle to gate (LXX: They shall be left in spirit of judgment for judgment, and for strength of them that hinder slaying) (P: same as MT). *7* But these also through wine have erred, and through strong drink are gone astray — priest and prophet have erred through strong drink, swallowed up from wine, gone astray from strong drink — they err in vision, they stumble in judgment (LX...

Isa 28:1-4

*Isa 28:1-4 — The Crown, The Hirelings, and Heavenly Fatness vs Heavenly Instructions* We have been in Isa 28 for weeks. V5, then 10-29. We found LXX did not understand supernatural context of 9-12 — _menuha_ and _marge'ah_ — Divider who gives rest. Now 1-4 sets up why. *My translation 1-4 with glosses:* *1* Woe! to crown glorious of drunkard Ephraim (LXX: crown of pride, the hirelings of Ephraim) and to garland shameful, army of his glory that at head of valley of fatness (heavenly fatness / beautifully fertile) (P: shameful diadem of strength of his glory which dominates at entrance of fertile valley) (LXX: flower fallen from glory on top of fertile mountain) of those confused with wine (LXX: those drunken without wine). *2* Behold, strong and mighty to Lord — as stream hail, storm destroying — as stream waters many, heavy, thick (כַּבִּירִים) overflowing — He causes to rest to land (P: I will give rest to this land by your hands) (LXX: he shall make rest for land) with power...

Isa 28:29

Here is your blog — starting with the Shavah translation as you asked: --- *Isaiah 28:29 — When You Press Level* > _This also — from with YHWH of Hosts it came forth — He makes wonderful counsel, He makes great the pressing-even._ That is Isa 28:29 if _tushiyah_ is from שוה — to press down hard to level, to set, to make stand. Not "excellent working" — but "great leveling." Not abstract wisdom — but the farmer's last pass with his foot and board that makes broken ground stand even, ready to grow. *1. The verse we all skip* Hebrew: > _gam-zot me'im YHWH tzevaot yatza'ah hifli etzah higdil tushiyah_ Traditional English: > This also comes forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom / working. [KJV / ESV] It closes the farming parable — 28:24-28 — does the plowman plow all day? No. Does he open and break clods all day? No. When he has leveled its face — _ki shivvah paneha_ — does he not scatter dil...

Isa 28:24-28

Isa 28:24-28 — Quick view *24* Does the plowman plow all day to sow? (P- does he plow all day, does farmer) Does he open and break up his ground? (P- turn over and break up) You are right — I missed it. v24 corrected: *24* Does the plowman plow all day to sow? (LXX- or will he prepare seed before working ground) (P- does farmer plow all day to sow) Does he open and break up his ground? (P- turn over and break up) LXX adds *prepare* — _proetoimasei_ — where MT has open and harrow — same idea you caught — breaking open IS preparing — LXX makes explicit what Hebrew implies — opening = preparing seed bed. *25* Is it not when he levels its face he scatters fennel (MT- black cumin) and cumin sows and casts wheat (MT- puts wheat in rows) and barley and rye (MT- barley marked and spelt) at its border (LXX- at your borders) *26* He is instructed in right judgment (MT- his God teaches him) his God shall teach him and they shall glory / praise (MT- He teaches him / LXX- and you shall rejoic...

Isa 28:22

### Isa 28:21-22 — Strange Work That Divides and Cuts Short *Translation 21:* > For as at Mount Perazim — Mount of Burstings — shall YHWH rise, as in Valley of Gibeon shall He be wroth, to do His work — strange is His work — and to perform His act — foreign is His act. *Perazim and Gibeon — not places, divisions:* - *Har Perazim* — where YHWH _paratz_ — burst through enemies as waters burst — and where land itself burst in Uzziah's earthquake — Amos 1:1 — Targum on Perazim remembers mountains splitting. - *Emek Gibeon* — where YHWH divided enemies with hail, divided day — sun stood in Gibeon, moon in Aijalon — to give rest — and where Israel divided against Israel — 12 vs 12 at Pool of Gibeon — Field of Swords. Both are _paratz_ — to burst, to divide — to give rest. God rising against His own city as He once rose for it — that's foreign. *Translation 22 — Word for word across MT, LXX, Peshitta:* > _ve'atta al titlotzatzu pen yechezqu mosreichem ki chala ve ne...

Isa 28:21

### Isa 28:21 — The Strange Work That Divides *Translation:* > For as at Mount Perazim — Mount of Breakings — shall YHWH rise, > as in the Valley of Gibeon shall He be wroth, > to do His work — strange is His work — > and to perform His act — foreign is His act. Peshitta: _metol d'vatura b'tur'ata nequm Marya, ayk 'umqa d'Gib'on nirgiz, l'me'bad 'abdohi nochrin 'abdohi, ul'me'bad 'abidta nochrin 'abidta_ *Perazim and Gibeon — Two Divisions:* *Har Perazim — Mountain of Burstings* — Baal-Perazim in Valley of Rephaim southwest of Jerusalem. There David said _paratz YHWH et oyvai keperetz mayim_ — YHWH burst through my enemies as waters burst. Targum remembers it as earthquake in days of Uzziah — mountains burst, land divided — Amos 1:1. *Emek Gibeon — Valley of Gibeon* — northwest of Jerusalem. There Joshua 10 — YHWH threw Amorites into panic, divided them with hail, and divided the day — sun stood still in Gibeon...

Isa 28:20

*Isaiah 28:19-20 — with די* > *19* For *enough* — from the full measure of its passing — it will take you, > as often as it passes, morning by morning, > by day and by night it will pass, > and it will be sheer terror — evil expectation — just to hear the report. > > *20* But *not enough* — the spread is too short to stretch out on, > and the garment too narrow to wrap yourself in. Notes for casual reader: - *v19 _midei_ — מדי* = from _dei_ — enough / sufficient. Same word as Passover *Dayenu — דיינו — it would have been enough.* God says: exile morning by morning is _enough_ punishment — not death. - *v20 _qatzar / tzarah*_ — too short / too narrow — *לא די* — _not_ enough — not enough spread to cover shame after being stripped. So contrast Isaiah wants: - Enough rowing away to punish you - Not enough cloth left to cover you Peshitta East kept garment: _mana_ — garment too short to cover — because in Hebrew your bed _was_ your garment — you spread your clo...

Isa 28:19

*Isaiah 28:18-19 — Re-translated* > *18* And your covenant with Death shall be nullified, > and your agreement with Sheol shall not stand. > When the overflowing current that *rows you away* passes through, > you shall be *swept away by it* for trampling. > > *19* *From the measure of its passing* — as often as it passes — *it will take you,* > for morning by morning it shall pass, > by day and by night, > and it shall be *sheer trembling* — *an evil expectation* — only to understand the report. *Notes:* *v18 _shot shotef*_ — not "scourge" — Hebrew _shut_ = to row, to rove. Syriac preserves it: _shota_ = whip, _mshota_ = oar. Same stroke. Peshitta East/West reads _shota d'grophya_ — oar of sweeping-away. *v19 _midei*_ — _min + dei_ — from the enough — from the sufficiency. Same root as *Dayenu — דיינו — it would have been enough.* Not death, but sufficient punishment: being rowed off into captivity. *v19 _raq zewa'ah*_ — sheer trembli...
